The game is also available for pre-order on Steam, Origin, and the Microsoft Store. Interestingly, while the price is the same everywhere, each store offers a different pre-order bonus. You’ll get the FFXV Fashion Collection - a pack of t-shirts for Noctis that grant different buffs, if you pre-order the game via Steam. If Origin is your preferred game marketplace, you’ll receive the FFXV Decal Selection pack, which contains an assortment of decals for your car, the Regalia. Lastly, for those who pre-order from the Microsoft Store will get the FFXV Powerup Pack, which gets you the Dodanuki sword, 10 Phoenix Downs, and 10 Elixirs.
Apart from the pre-order bonuses, Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition also comes with native 4K, HDR, and full mod support. Also, it includes all the previously released DLC for the PS4 and Xbox One, namely: Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, and Episode Ignis, as well as the multiplayer Comrades expansion. It also delivers new content in the form of a new dungeon, extra boss fights, a first-person mode, and an added in-game vehicle, the Royal Vessel boat.
Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is set to brace the PC world on March 6, 2018. Square Enix has also announced that it will be releasing a “Royal Edition” of the game for console users which includes all of the additional content featured in the Windows Edition.
